Overview

Living in metros has many advantages but at the same it also has its own share of disadvantages.

Metro dwellers miss out greatly on the natural aspect of life – the fresh air, the clear blue sky, the

sweet smell of the earth wet with the first raindrops of the year, surviving on the bare essentials,

cool mind to name a few. Trekking is a pleasant deviation from the metro life and is a real stress

buster. Other than benefiting physical health, trekking makes one feel oneness with our Mother

Nature and helps one to rejuvenate one’s tired mind. When people from across the globe come to

the Himalayas for trekking, it’s natural that we Indians should also be exploring the lengths breadth

of the Himalayas.  Keeping in mind the advantages of imbibing the love for nature at a younger age

we have planned a short trekking/ hiking expedition for the kids of junior school.
