The peak demands fair amount of endurance and stamina to conquer it. The importance and the popularity of the peak could be understood with fact that the Western Himalayan mountaineering institute at Manali, used to take its participants of advance course to this summit. This peak is more clear when you travel to Rohtang pass. It is not the highest peak in Manali region but as other peak it gives suitable peak climbing experience. For Hanuman tibba expedition we set off our  trek from Solang valley. Reach dhundi through deodar oak birch trees by taxi. From dhundi to bakar thach between beautiful meadows to  Beas Kund lake in couple of hours. A tiny lake which is the source of the river Beas is holy to the locals and is known  as Beas kund. Beas kund to tentu gully is 2-3 hours trek . We set up base camp below tentu gully to shorten the distance towards gully and set up our base camp for upcoming days. On the next day load ferry over tentu gully. After load ferry we cross Tentu la pass and establish advance base camp. It takes 4-5 hours to cross the tentu pass. The gully is ultimate test for the climbers. The trek is steep and slippry at the top of the gully. After crossing the tentu pass we walk half an hour and reach near to a small lake, fix our camp for overnight stay.  The campsite is surrounded by the rocky mountains, so the rock falls are randomly noticed and heard even when you are asleep. The place is safe because the camp is at ideal distance from the cliffs. Next morning climb on morains and glaciers for almost a day will testify the spirits of the climbers. We try to go as near to the peak to set up summit base camp below the Hanuman Tibba. One can see the Peak clearly and find the safe route to the summit while having a cup of tea and snacks below.Next day early in the morning probably in the dark we attempt to the summit. The peak is  climbed via South - West face.  The view up at the summit is out of this world. The peak is surrounded by many snow covered peaks like Deo tibba, Inderkila and other lesser elevated peaks. A little of technical ability but the stamina requires to climb this summit. After summit head back to summit camp. In the morning descend back to the base camp. Take a rest for one day and next day trek back to Dhundi. Back to Solang Valley, drive to manali. Kullu to Vyasar Cycling Expedition - Tour

    Kullu to Vyasar Cycling Expedition

    ₹ 6,500

Region: Kullu  Total Duration – 3 Nights / 4 Days  Style Of Trip – Cycling  Maximum Altitude –  2438 m./ 8000 ft.  Grade – Moderate  Best Season – December to November  Accommodation – Hotel/Guesthouse; Organized Campsite  Food – On trek – All meals included  Distance – 70 km. Cycling Kullu to Vyasar Cycling in the Himalayas is an absolute way to see the Nature real close riding through thick canopies to staggering height gain. Several cycling trips in the valley offer an unbelievable distant view, a grand vista as we soar up in the mountains. Pushing harder to overcome the route would lead one through Apple Orchards wild forests and ancient villages high above situated in the Kullu valley. Cycling and pedaling yourself to the target would realize one with the strength and endurance inside. The trip from Kullu to Vyasar is similarly as beautiful and strenuous as the most of the trips done in the valley. As the valley owns a mountainous terrain, most of the route brings out moderate inclines followed by decent downhill rides. The valley is divided by river Beas into two banks, right and left, here we will be riding initially on the left side of the valley by leaving base early. As the day ride is long enough to attain, the route is downhill and moderate firstly until we cross a bridge and then enter to the right bank highway. The roads are blissfully paved and ride is not tough to negotiate the moderate part. Soon the route turns and joins into the interior road leaving highway back and rises gradually. Now the most awaited stretch of testing the strength comes with moderate climb varying the gradient to less or to steep. The ups and downs keep rolling till Vyasar village, a small village settled remotely in the valley, and after wards the tremendous downhill till Kullu. All the way from the point we had started and passed the ultimate locations offering remarkable prospect of Himalayan Nature to the busy dwellings lower in the city of Kullu. It is so exciting to see the change just in few km’s of ride from hustle and bustle of city to rural unhurried life. The Kullu valley owns a great history and a glorious past of explorers and travelers being visited because of its incredible beauty. So cycling in the Kullu valley must be the liveliest thing to explore when someone visits into the valley.  Things to Pack Day pack, good sports shoes, sweat proof t shirt, cap , UV rays protected sunglasses, raincoat, extra socks, water bottle,Spoon,Plate,Mug,Lunch box(for pack lunch) torch, cold cream, sunscreen, toilet soap, towel, medicines that you usually use. The motion of the pedals makes one to feel excited. The weight of the helmet on your head makes you feel secure. High speeds and the gushing winds hitting in the face gives you a sense of freedom; and the absolute control hunching over the front wheel and the brakes giving a sense of power. Riding cycle makes you adventurous and makes you feel complete. If you are looking for a new challenge in cycling, come across to the Manali-Leh route. If you are looking for an adventure filled cycling trip in picturesque settings, there cannot be a better route than this one. Cycling 500 km over high altitude mountains, crossing some of the highest roads in the world, is no mean challenge, especially because the roads are blissfully paved and are non-existent at some places. One has to be prepared physically and mentally to complete this journey. And so, with physical fitness, mental resolve and a truckload of excitement start your journey with Himalaya destination. The overnight bus journey from Delhi to Manali is comfortable, safe and takes 14 hours to reach the destination.  One has to get off at Patlikuhl a few km’s. further from Kullu and take taxi or bus to the camp at Naggar about 5 km. from Patlikuhal. At the camp you will meet the rest of the group, consisting people of varying ages and the organizers. Moreover, the times that you were to face together invariably brings out the best in people. The experience you will get during these ten days goes beyond anything words can explain. If there are the daunting challenges of continuous up slopes, biting cold winds, and uncertain weather, there are also the joys of riding miles of down slopes, getting the first glimpse of the destination and the spell bounding beauty of the mountains. The ride starts from Manali climbing up to Marhi then over Rohtang top to Sissu and so on passing by different locations and high passes such as Bara lacha la, Lachung la, Nakee la, Tanglang la and then the highest Khardung la.  The route takes you through vast grounds of Sarchu and the plateaus of the endless More plains to nomad villages on the way. You might get a chance to see wild animals like Blue sheep, Ibex, Yaks, Marmots, wild horses etc. As we reach Rumtse the landscape turns to a bit greenish side which feels like awesome after days of seeing arid nature. Every morning you will wake up wondering what challenges the day would bring and every night you will go to sleep with the satisfaction of having lived up to another challenge. It would be more appropriate to say that each day will amble away as we pedal through it and yet in no time we find ourselves in Leh. Then to the highest motor able pass at Khardung-la at the height of 5600m. by cycle, demands a great stamina to excel at the top and less oxygen makes it more difficult to ride. But at the end once you reach the pass all the fatigue vanishes by conquering it. The feeling throughout the expedition is outstanding and one should do it once in a life for sure.    Things to Pack:  Rucksack, cotton clothes, good trekking shoes, a warm jacket, warmer, woollen or monkey cap covering head and ears, UV rays protected sunglasses, raincoat, extra socks, water bottle, torch, cold cream, sunscreen, toilet soap, towel, walking Stick and medicines that you usually use.   How To Reach Manali Distance by road:- Manali is well connected to Delhi.
