Hampta offers outstanding scenery taking one from loud city bustle to the hush of the lucid valley. The valley is so pure with natural landscapes of forests meadows rocky cliffs meandering streams, a rare pack seen in one. Although this trek is done in summers at great amount but could be done in winters too. In winter the Hampta valley receives immense snowfall, which remains for months winning an ideal route for the winter trek. In winter the trek is done till lower sites because of heavy snow making it difficult to move forward, but it depends on the trekkers enthusiasm how high or far they can approach. As one comes across this much loved trek will be splendid by the vistas of this magnificent valley and will never forget to frequent again. The approach is easy and moderate through wild forests towering high into the sky to remote village of Sethan and forward. The amount of snow is so great that one will find his feet sinking into the snow making it a bit demanding as he walks on the deep white sheet.  Never the less one will get familiar to tackle the snow after minutes of stride. The trail comes with a moderate approach till the last point of hike followed by magnificent panorama all the way long. Once approached at stunning village of Sethan you will be lodged into the village house and served with hot cup of tea amongst mighty Himalayan Peaks. Following day tread on the great snowy trail through submerged vegetation with only tall trees standing besides. One can play in snow or do some snow activities such as snow slides, skiing, snowboarding or simply play with the feathery substance. The fortification at Rajmachi consists of two forts, namely Shrivardhan Fort and Manaranjan Fort. Rajmachi Fort is a popular trekking destination. It is a very famous fort located near famous hill stations of Maharashtra, Lonavala and Khandala. Historically, Rajmachi fort was a strategic fort to control Borghat (ghat between Khopoli and Khandala on Mumbai-Pune route) which was a historical trade route. The fort played a strategic role in the First Anglo-Maratha War. Rajmachi Fort has been declared as a protected monument.

FIREFLIES SPECIAL CAMP Just before the monsoon arrives, the tiny bioluminescence beings sparkle and shine to emit a glow. It’s nature’s own light show that amuses one and all. Fireflies typically shine at twilight to attract mates or prey. These fireflies bring magic to your summer night. Play with these little creatures while they keep amusing you all night long. Photographers, be ready with your cameras, to capture the sight and save it forever. Add to this the fun of a camping night in the folds of majestic Sahyadris. KOTHALIGAD Kothaligad is more commonly known as the fort of Peth because the village of Peth is situated at its base. The pinnacle of the Peth can be seen from the village. It looks like a filed surface. On reaching the top of the fort, we see caves carved in huge rocks. The first one is the cave of Goddess, besides which is awater cistern and the last one is the specious Bhairoba cave.A flat floorand well-sculpted pillars are specialty of the cave. Along the Bhairoba cave, steps are carved leading the pinnacle. Four–Five potholes and some cannon balls are scattered in the fort. Kalwawantinicha Mahal, Nagfani, Siddhagad, Malanggad, Chanderi, Prabalgad, Manikgad, and Matheran all these surrounding historical places are visible from top of the fort Peth.

Gomukh, a place in Gangotri glacier located at an elevation of 3889m is the birth source to river ganga. Witnessing Ganga's birth source has always been a golden opportunity for people and the shine in their eyes while having the dip in the Gomukh is never less than a million dollars. Gomukh means mouth of a cow. Why is this place referred to mouth of a cow, I asked to a pilgrim who was standing next to me looking flawlessly at the people who were in water, The sages called it 'Gomukh', because it probably appeared like a cow's mouth in the past., he added. The element of trek from Bhojwassa to Gomukh is amazing, the essence of panoramic view of Bhagirathi group of peaks is pure enough to energize one to follow his commitment to Gomukh glacier. I felt it's not just the religious spirit that energizes one after a dip in such chilling water, but also the natural scenic beauty that is responsible for an appraisal to such a wonderful experience! Gaumukh-Tapovan is a moderate-difficult trek. While the Gangotri-Gaumukh trail is fairly moderate and is often used by pilgrims, the Gaumukh-Tapovan trail demands experience. One who have done a couple of high-altitude treks like Roopkund can opt for it but a beginner must never prefer it.
